Friday Afternoon - July 25th

Richard Thompson's Centennial Ranch
Come as early as you like

Ample space to visit with friends.  Hike, play, hang out and simply relax. Picnic - bring your own food.  Bring any equipment you like for games - baseball, frisbee, volley ball, etc. 
Meet Carol Johnson's loveable llamas. 
A perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors.

No charge for this event.

Centennial Ranch is located in Golden Gate Canyon 9 miles out of Golden.  From Denver, go west on hwy. 6 through Golden to the junction of hwy. 93 toward Boulder.  Go straight ahead about a mile to the Golden Gate Canyon turn off (signs to Golden Gate State Park).  Turn left for 9 miles to Centennial Ranch, a stone house on the right.

Friday Evening - July 25th

Colorado History Museum
1300 Broadway - 5 pm to 11 pm

Eat, drink and be merry among dioramas and relics
(as well as your fellow Class of '58 Angels!)


Barbecue and sides served from 6:30-7:30
Beer, wine, and soft drinks available from 6-9

Exhibits, - pictures, football programs, dance cards, White Jackets, gym suits, and any memorabilia you want to share (who has a "poodle skirt"?). Open microphone if you want to give someone a "Shout out" or recreate a talent show hit number.

  At 6 p.m. Bob Beach will pipe "Amazing Grace"
as we read aloud the names of and pay tribute to the
deceased members of the class of 1958.

$25 per person
Bracelet required for beer/wine $10

Parking is available at the Cultural Center Parking Garage at 12th Avenue and Broadway. Enter the garage from 12th Avenue just west of Broadway.  The parking lot is open from 6 a.m. to midnight.  Entering the garage after 4 p.m. - cost will be $3 for the evening. 

Handicapped accessible parking is available in the garage and along 13th and 14th.
 Metered parking spaces are within walking distance.

Saturday Morning - July 26th

Join the School Tour
10:00 am 'til Lunch

Your chance to walk the halls of our alma mater and relive old times.  Revisit Mr Beardshear's office for the umpteenth time.  In the auditorium, picture yourself back on stage.  On the third floor, you might even see something you can't remember…the library.  View the East High memorabilia collection in the tower.

Bob Beech will be outside on Esplanade with his bagpipes,
piping us in to and out of East High.

A variety of prepaid box lunch options (paid with your Reunion Registration) will be available, along with bottled drinks.

The old school is is good shape after all these years.  Tall tales at lunch on the south lawn, Esplanade, or in the lunchroom.

Richard Nelson, author of
Flights of Angels, a History of East High from 1874-2004,
will be on hand with books available for purchase for $20.
In his book he refers to the 1950's as the Golden Years.
